Alembic Laboratories

Alembic Labs was founded in 2006 as a freelance design and development firm, specializing in standards-compliant and future-proof web sites for creative professionals and small businesses. We strive to create the most accessible and compatible web designs possible, allowing future changes and designs to be implemented with little to no content changes, and allow for the broadest segment of visitors (including mobile browsers and vision-disabled visitors) to have the full experience of the site.

Alyssa Bittner-Gibbs

Business Manager/Content Manager

Alyssa Bittner-Gibbs Back in 1998, Alyssa taught herself HTML by reading source code and bashing her way through and made her own website to keep her friends and family up to date with her travels in Sweden and the start of college. Although the web changed much in the last 8 years, Alyssa is still admittedly a "web addict." A linguist at heart (speaking both German and Swedish, in addition to English), she serves as Alembic Laboratories' editor, copywriter, and content expert, providing sites with a clear and coherent voice and message.

Her experience in organization and office management, coupled with her masters degree in Policy, Planning, and Administration (BU SED '06), and a keen entrepenural spirit (most of her family are entrepenuers and business owners), she oversees the management of Alembic Laboratories and assists her husband in development work for clients.

She currently works as an administrator at Harvard Business School.
