Some minor accolades

As fitting with Alembic Laboratories' general development philosophy, this site strives to maintain clean, valid, and standards compliant code. As such, I submitted the site to W3C Sites an online gallery of sites adhering to modern web standards and design principles.

Thinking I would probably only be added to the general "sites" directory, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was added to the featured gallery on the home page!

It's not a Webby, but its nice.

New site design

I am pleased to announce that Alembic Laboratories has a new design.

It is the second in our founding year, but over all, I feel (since I am the designer of both) that this new design embraces Alembic's core design and development philosophies:

It works in all browsers
The design is clean, but has imagery and typography that solidly reflects our [that is my, but with full auspices from Alyssa] design style and creates visual interest.
The Javascript is unobtrusive
It is simple to navigate

I probably left some other minor point out, but I am very excited about the new site design and setup.

In the coming weeks, more content (alphas of Visionae Dei, fully functioning, creative examples of Smartdrop, as well as more visual examples of work.
